I'm also glad to have finally reached 400 pages. I was hoping to do so in August, but better late than never. I will likely make a second update on my blog. I hope to hit 500 pages next month, but I will need to keep up the pace. Sometimes, I get fatigue writing AP3 because I've been working on this series most of the time for these last several years. I was working on another book before posting the last update and I wrote 6 pages in a few hours, which is a lot in a very short time. Some days, if I write 6 pages for AP3, it's over the course of the day. This other book has nothing to do with AP, so it felt more invigorating somehow to work on it. I'm now 401 pages into the second draft, which is 15 pages since the last update. I also got to page 21 of the outline. I was able to finish two missions, one in England and another in Germany. For the England missions, there are about 2 more and then no more in that country after that. The team dealing with England will then move onto Poland. For the vast majority of the remainder for the book, Germany will be the main place where missions happen. One team will be focused in other cities while another will do many missions in Hamburg and Berlin. There's a betrayal coming up that will kill a core character. For me, I'm most excited for Hamburg missions to start because it was so fun to write them in the first draft and I made interesting changes for them in the outline. It is also…

I'm now 386 pages into the second draft, which is 19 pages since the last update where I actually wrote something. I wanted to hit 20 pages so I could make up for not writing anything last week, but 19 is a good amount. I hit the minimum before the weekend. I also got to page 20 of the outline and finished two missions. I'm getting close to hitting 400 pages, which I was hoping to hit by the end of August. It's good to be back on writing and I suppose I got a boost this week. I hope I can keep this up because the end of the year is coming up. If I don't finish the second draft this year, it reduces my chances of publishing the book next year. I really need to get content out there if I want to drum up more interest in…

So I didn't work on AP3 at all this last week. It was nice to take a break but it's also a little sad that I broke the writing streak I started since I began the second draft. I did at least 10 pages every week since the end of March, which is almost 5 months. I haven't had that much writing consistency in a very long time. Also, it is not that bad to not write for a while because I have a full outline this time around. With AP4, I would be confused whenever I came back to it after a long hiatus. Though, I have changed many things from the outline while working on the second draft.
