Armored Piercing 3 Update #1

So if you aren't aware, I started working on the second draft for Armored Piercing 3 near the end of March this year. I have been posting weekly updates on the Armored Piercing Operations Wix group. I recently reached the milestone of 250+ pages written. I managed to keep a consistent writing schedule and I believe I will hit 300 pages very soon. I don't know how long the second draft will end up being, but what I wrote so far only covers the first 11 pages of the 151-page outline. The first draft was just below 1200 pages, so I think the second will be shorter. I have considered splitting the book in parts, but have decided against it. The editing process will be very difficult to manage, but I prefer not to have multiple books just for the third entry in the series. Though, splitting it would allow me to get new material out faster, especially since it has been 5 years since publishing Armored Piercing 2. Any fans would have to continue to wait, unfortunately, as it is not likely that I will finish and publish AP3 this year.
So, the third entry in the series takes place immediately after the second book. I wrote a blog years ago that teased what was next to come. I also left some teasers in a few Goodreads Q&A posts. Basically, World War 3 has kicked off. Merlov Krachenko, the Russian State Duma deputy Petrenko Mayakovsky was investigating, somehow convinced a large portion of the Russian Army to invade Europe. Why did he start this war? What pretext did he use for this war? How does Shadow Company tie into all this? You will have to wait for answers!
But to give at least some new information for waiting fans, here is a short list of returning characters in Armored Piercing 3: Sipho Morgess, Macoy Lachowster, Petrenko Mayakovsky, Chernov Mayakovsky, Conrad jones, Jeffery Bolt, Snake Wilard, Gerald Price, Soap Kent, Sarah Ankerson, Ed Vector, and William Sogobi Carper.
And for locations, here is a short list of countries that will be visited: Afghanistan, England, Russia, Brazil, France, and Ukraine. These countries are locations within the first 250 pages of the second draft.
